Remaining in Faith

Dear saints,

I would like to share a dream I had concerning our walk of faith. I dreamt one of the saints shared a dream in which she experienced God saying to her that she had to remain in line with the door, and I replied that it means she has to “remain on the path that leads to righteousness.”

This dream led to wonderful reflections that I would like to share for your edification.

“The path” speaks of the pattern of regeneration that we have to remain in daily as we conform to the record of Christ through our daily cycles of growth. (Revelation, Resistance Reward.)

Every time we receive a revelation from God through a dream or a vision or a word of knowledge, God gives it in expectation of us working with His grace in faith. We remain on the path that leads to righteousness when we mould with, and submit to the grace of God as we endure the resistance part of our cycles of growth in faith. In doing so we are following the record of Christ and being set free from the power of iniquity.

I experienced the Lord ministering to me that we often “let go” of the revelation we have received, and then struggle to endure the testing of our faith because we have nothing to “hold on to”. That’s why we have to take time to reflect on the revelation, and in this way we remain on the path that leads to righteousness.

We “remain” on the path of righteousness by joining our faith to Christ. He is the way the truth and the life and by remaining in Him we uphold Gods standard for faith and are declared righteous. The “letting go” of the tools of the flesh, on the other hand, comes from embracing Christ. Through regeneration we learn that the path of deliverance and healing is one of suffering and endurance, and only by remaining steadfast in faith and yielding to God’s judgments are we saved.

Next I reflected on the word “leads” to righteousness. I wondered why God would use the word “leads” when those who are in faith are already righteous. But through further reflection I was enlightened to see that faith is a daily process. Our confession of faith is not a once off experience, but a daily pattern and path that we have to remain on for salvation of our souls. This is why salvation is a daily responsibility, and only those who remain on the path of faith experience God’s righteous judgements, which bring healing and deliverance to our souls. The path of faith, continuance and endurance leads to the daily salvaging of our souls from the power of sin.

Salvation begins at the point of sanctification, where we are set apart from the world unto God, but is brought to completion through our daily activity of faith. It is through our reciprocation that we remain joined to Christ and experience His life being formed in the soul. I praise God for this perfect plan and pattern that He set in Jesus Christ that enables us to experience our salvation through the purging of the conscience and the renewing of the mind, with a living hope that we will eternally be joined to our Father.

Deut 6:25 “And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.”

“Salvation is sealed in Christ and only by remaining on the path that leads to righteousness will we experience His fullness and increase in His substance.
