Dear Saints and visitors,
I would like to share my joy in Godâs abundant mercy and sustaining power through the token of reflection.
As God gave manna from heaven to sustain those in the wilderness, and then sent Jesus in the flesh to project Himself into His sanctified contact points and has restored the tether that was lost with the fall of mankind, and by faith in covenant we now have direct access unto His throne of grace and mercy that shall sustain us unto eternal life and glory in Him. Jesus Christ gives Himself to us in the form of knowledge, He is the living word and oath of God. The manna that came from heaven to sustain the Israelites in the first covenant pointed to Jesus that would come from heaven to sustain us in the hour of His visitation (while He was on earth in physical from). Jesus coming in the flesh of men was as the revelation that comes before the resistance. Jesus manifested Himself and through His death and resurrection sealed the pattern of our faith in Himself. As we come into covenant; into contact with His government, truth and Holy Spirit we are instructed in the knowledge of our priesthood that we may be partakers of His sacrifice and benefit from His resurrection. Jesus poured Himself into the tools of the second covenant and therefore we experience salvation, regeneration and healing as we join ourselves to Him by these tokens of faith.
Jesus clearly set the pattern for healing through contact; this contact represents our faith, as we read the gospels (Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) we see that when Jesus touched the people and they where healed he always said to them, âThy faith has made thee whole.â Inner circumcision and healing of the heart comes as a result of our contact through covenant faith, for these are the things that represent Him, that He purchased with His blood and empowers through His Spirit. After His death and resurrection Jesus was sat down on a throne at the right hand of the Father to again set the pattern of our reward in Himself. Revelations 3:21, To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
I was again reminded of when the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. As Satan tempted Jesus to resource the design of His soul to free Himself from the restrictions that God placed for the purpose of testing, Jesus continued to reflect upon the will of God and gained strength for overcoming. Jesus was sustained by the revelation of the father and kept Himself in view of His promise. Matthew 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Jesus was saying that the power of God is grater than the need of mans flesh. He was also pointing to the revelation of Godâs grace (His visitation) that will be our âsustaining powerâ in the hour of temptation.
I would like to share a view reflections that has truly nourished my heart this morning and again reminded me of the power in reflection.
Through reflection we gain skill in discerning the wiles of the devil.
Reflection closes the window of the imagination as we put on the helmet of salvation.
Reflection breaks the bread and increases us in His wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
Reflection sustains the heart and empowers the will for faith.
Reflection gives us eyes to see for discernment and a heart to perceive and endure unto virtue.
Reflection sets us in view of His promise and therefore we delight in His involvement and joy in the manifestation of His mercy.
Reflection keeps us rooted, establishes, settles and strengthens us in him.
Reflection allows us to stand by the power of God and not in the reason on man.
Reflection gives us insight as God ministers unto us the mysteries of His throne.
Reflection refreshes us as God gives us new manna daily.
Reflecting upon the revelation of grace we walk by faith and overcome the adversary.
Reflection fills the heart, mind and mouth with the substance of Christ.
Reflection waters the soul with grace and truth.
Reflection keeps us in the mind of Christ that we walk not by the inclinations of the natural man but by the perspective of the throne.
God visits us in His grace and feeds the heart with the manna of His living word, building us up with the promise of His oath, He then takes a half step back to test the heart for obedience. 2Peter 1:3, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: God has given us all things(Tools for faith) and through reflection upon the revelation of His grace we draw strength for continuance in faith. This is the simplicity of our faith nothing of man is needed and nothing of Christ is missing. We prevail over self, Satan and the world by using the Spiritual contact points of the new covenant. This is how we follow the pattern Jesus set for our victory and reward.
Hebrews 13:5, Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
