The Unction of the Spirit

THE UNCTION OF THE SPIRIT
Dear beloved in our Lord Jesus Christ

I would like to share my reflections upon the word I received from the Lord during prayer time: “UNCTION”

“The unction of the Holy Ghost is the anointing of truth” (Excerpt: Glossary Terms: Unction)
1 John 2:20: “But ye have an unction from the Holy Spirit, and ye know all things”

“The anointing is the preparation of truth in the heart of the believer through the instruction received by the apostles' office. Through this “preparation in truth” we are “taught” all things concerning the pattern of Christ. With this foundation of truth we have the necessary knowledge and tools we need to build faith in God” (Excerpt: Glossary Terms: Anointing)

As I was reflecting upon the meaning of this word I was thinking how we, before coming into covenant with God and received instruction from His living apostles, struggled with what we believed “faith” was, forever trying to remove the burden of human-frailty, believing frailty to be a stumbling block that prevented us from receiving the anointing and serve God acceptably. Believing that mankind has to “do something” to deserve the anointing of God is a journey that keep believers going around in circles, trying to be “holy enough” to receive the anointing of God. Now through instruction received from a living apostle of God I am able to discern from the foundation of truth laid within my heart, that the Anointing of God is NOT:
a powerful feeling that hypes the emotions, the passions and the aspirations of believers to be “zealous” for God,
a power from above that makes everybody kind, loving, caring and forgiving, “reflecting Jesus” in the flesh
the ability to endure the suffering of this world through will worship expressing a false humility and false piety for overcoming is by the lesson that was learn from the suffering and pain to bring a testimony to one’s pride and produces fables)
a power used to overcome frailty, to rule over circumstances, to control the appetites of the flesh by aggressively arresting the will or to break out of the restrictions and the limitations of the flesh (Adam being like a lion in the cage of a hamster)

“God set the pattern for our faith by His Spirit. God’s power for spiritual transformation is through Jesus Christ. Jesus is the yoke we are to carry and we do that through God writing His Law of Grace and Truth upon our hearts (Excerpt: Lesson: Revelation, Resistance, Reward)

The unction of the Spirit is the anointing of Truth that is laid in our heart as we are being instructed in the knowledge of Jesus Christ by a living apostle. It is the tools and knowledge that equip us to serve God acceptable. It is the engrafting of God’s law of grace and truth within our souls that free us from the law of sin and death and bring order to our perspective.
Romans 8:1-3 ”For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the Law of Sin and Death”

“We serve God by bearing fruit, this is what God anoints us to do. He anoints us to empower us to take on the image and likeness of Christ. Before God can work in us the fruit of His character that glorify Him, He must first anoints us” (Excerpt: The anointing)
Ex. 28:41 “… you Moses shall anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them and sanctify them, that they may minister unto Me in the priest’ office”

As believers we are not in this dimension to rule as the sons and daughters of the Most High but to be servants of the Kingdom of God, to be subject to His Law of grace and truth, to bear the yoke of His priesthood, for the increase of our souls in the riches of His kingdom and to glorify Him through fruit bearing. And as the foundation of truth is being laid in our heart (as we daily study the doctrine of Jesus Christ and serve God at the altar of Christ through our spiritual sacrifices) we are being prepared to serve God in the priesthood of Jesus Christ, taking on the image and likeness of His Son and bearing fruit unto Him. God gave His Spirit and His Truth to cleanse the church from the false knowledge of Satan, to prepare the Bride of Christ to be without spot and without blemish for His return, and as His Spirit gives witness to our activity of faith with these holy knowledge and tools of His covenant the soul is being cleansed from the knowledge and fruits of the kingdom of darkness through the process of regeneration. John 14:24: “But the comforter which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things…”

The Spirit work with the foundation of truth laid in the heart to unlock the mystery of Christ, to increase us in wisdom, knowledge and understanding and to bring forth the fruits of the Spirit. John 2:27: “…and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same Anointing teach you of all things and is truth…”

“The anointing is given for the purpose of discernment, learning, and guidance; it will not bear witness to the rhythm of the flesh (it will not lie against truth or against Christ to confirm the human nature, human lust, or human strength,) rather it will only bear witness to the true purpose and plan of God (Excerpt: Glossary Terms: Anointing).
Our faith is not influenced by or dependent upon human-frailty or issues and circumstances of life (the witness from beneath) but is perfect in Christ through the Witness of His Holy Spirit (the Witness from above). 2 Cor 10:05: “Casting down imagination and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” The Spirit of God does not work with man’s perception of wrong-and-right (moral-center), his instincts and imagery, his expectations, his emotions and his aspirations and principles. The Spirit does not confirm the record of man’s soul but give witness to the record of Jesus Christ (the tools and knowledge of His covenant) to birth the fruits of righteousness in the soul.

As we daily take up the yoke of Christ’s knowledge, the Spirit strengthen us to not be overcome by the contradictions and contrariness of our cycles of growth but to remain steadfast in faith with our mind fixed upon Christ, to labor in faith, patience and longsuffering, receiving our eternal reward.
“God has not given us over into the hands of Satan. Jesus was led into the wilderness by His Spirit, for His faith to be tested and then to be rewarded” (Excerpt: Revelation, Resistance, Reward)

1 Cor 2:14 “But the natural man receive not the things of the Spirit, for they are foolisheness unto him, neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned
(Saw Flashing ministering spirit while reading over this part)

I offer these spiritual sacrifices for all the saints for consistency, longsuffering and patience in faith:
“Through our activity with the sanctified things the Spirit imprint the record of Christ in our soul thus we no longer follow the pattern of sin but the pattern of life in the Spirit”
“When we walk by the law of the Spirit we carry the yoke of Christ and receive the witness of the Father”.
“Foolishness is the spiritual things from above for those who’s eyes can only behold the carnal things but blessed are the eyes from which the veil of ignorance are removed for unto them it is everything that pertain unto Life and Holiness”
