Greetings saints and visitors;
I received this word of knowledge today while reflecting on Christ. "Embellish" it carries two very distinct applications I would like to share;
em·bel·lish/em?beliSH/Verb
1. Make (something) more attractive by the addition of decorative details or features, to make beautiful with ornamentation : "blue silk embellished with golden embroidery".
In this we can see how we are adorned with Christ through covenant faith.
"God embellishes the soul with the virtue of Christ as we walk by faith, thus we are born anew in Him."
2. Make (a statement or story) more interesting or entertaining by adding extra details, esp. ones that are not true.
This application of the word shows how through the flesh man inflates Gods grace to make the manifestation seem more than it was or to take it in the way of the aspiration and imagination.
"Gods grace is sufficient as we walk in the revelation received for by this we will not embellish the gift.
I offer these spiritual sacrifices for G/G for all saints;
The soul is embellished with the virtue of Christ by the operation of God, the effectual work of the Spirit and the mediation of Christ as we labour at the altar with grace and truth.
God embellishes the hungry soul with the substance of Christ for strength and nourishment.
Man turns the grace of God in to lasciviousness through the flesh by the display of emotion by which he embellishes the token from above and thus defiles it.
The embellishment of truth turns the truth of God into a lie.
Grace and peace :-)
In Christ'
