World Wide Apostolic Assembly 5-6-12
Presiding Apostle John Welty
Review: Christ was manifested to take away our sins, The apostle saying this to those who had foundation truth and they were in assembly and able to observe their charity and function of faith. It was not just to anybody but those he had stewarded this knowledge to who fellowshipped in this knowledge.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Whosoever abides in Him – The Apostle John reflecting on the gospels where Christ talked about, “he who abides in me”. If the branch breaks off there is no power in the branch. The branch is dead due to there being no more contact with the trunk of the tree.
Those the apostle wrote to, they were abiding and reflecting upon the apostles doctrine. The foundation of truth laid in the heart. They knew the power of this knowledge. God issuing this form of knowledge from the throne to apostles to assist the church in faith that their joy be made full. As they bear contact with Christ, they bear forth much fruit and this is how their joy is made full.
He that says he abides in Christ should walk even as he walked ( chapter 2: 29)
He that abides in the light there is no occasion for stumbling. Setting distinctions on those who abide in the true pattern of faith walk even as he walked in this pattern. Not serving God as you want but following the record he set for faith. This pattern is not in scripture, it is hidden in the mystery of Christ.
Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
This letter benefits those who keep covenant and understand the perspective in what he is teaching.
Those who leave apostolic government are the spoilers for they have gone on to confirm themselves in doing what is right in their own eyes.
Focus of the Father is Christ and for us to bear the fruit of Christ.
Carnal activities only serve to serve self, and there is a false hope here in this belief.
Jesus taught abiding in Him is the boundaries he has set and the walls and restrictions he has set within the framework of our faith in the knowledge of Christ. This is our priesthood and we are experiencing the lack of famine for we are partaking of his grace daily.
The anointing we have received through apostles we can make choices of faith to abide in him. In the FRS they ask and struggle with this about how to serve him or if they are doing the will of God.
Apostles have the answers to be able to bring to the church that their joy may be made full.
Charity :
Whosoever drinks of the mystery of Christ, the knowledge given by the apostles foundation of truth, will be in him a well of anointing, springing up to life eternal.
Abiding in the anointing teaches you all things, welling up within you, that your joy may be made full.
Government, truth Spirit, prayer, preaching prophecy gifts callings and graces of God is to abide in Him for these things are in Christ
It is important to know those things that are in Christ.
Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
When we keep his commandments he is not talking about the law of Moses and the 10 commandments. Saying that many have a zeal for God but not according to knowledge to mix the covenants is to have zeal but not according to knowledge.
Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, not our own righteousness to go about establishing our own righteousness from the law.
The commandments now are the tools of Christ for our priesthood not after the order of Levi but after the order of Melchizadec.
Melchizadec priesthood represented the mystery of Christ.
We have daily choices that we choose to labor with and work with. We choose to work with the tools of Christ that restricts the imagination. Or do we work with the grace and truth of God, for we find value in them by our experience with them.
If we are struggling with sin you need to know what it is to abide in Him. For its in covenant that the true liberty of Christ is experienced.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
To see the true Christ by the knowledge of Christ you work with his grace and you sin not due to the power of grace in you.
We do not want to be shamed in that day, but we must be able to overcome our cycles of growth and scenarios of testing as we yield more to him and love him more than these.
We do not use the things of the Spirit by our own aspiration for we cannot know him in this way nor abide in him by the aspiration and principle.
Chapter 1:10 If we say we have not sinned we make him a liar.
This is not a contradiction. We are not returning to that which we have been delivered from. We embraced the old system before but now we are being purged from that system. We daily submit our selves to the grace and truth of God for the daily cleansing but we are not continuing in sin. We all need to be delivered and we all are in need of that cleansing. So those who say they don’t need cleansing make him a liar.
Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
We have to overcome the struggles of faith the doctrine of Christ is new to children and so they struggle more than the fathers who have partaken of the doctrine of Christ for years.
Little children, young men and fathers. Children are those learning the priesthood, young men those learning to abide in priesthood, and fathers are those who abide continually in the priesthood.
Little children focus on and become confident in the things of Christ be not deceived.
Christ will direct your faith through grace and truth. Many will say well you need to focus on this need and that need they are wanting you to work with another pattern and are carnal minded paying attention to carnal things. These are deceivers who quote scripture to deceive you from leaving your ordered activity in Christ. The cleansing of the soul and separating you from the fruit of iniquity to receive the fruit of Christ. This is what these deceivers would move your faith from but you as you stay abiding in him and you meet and are meeting Gods expectations.
Abraham followed this same pattern of righteousness beholding Christ knowledge by faith and abided in him, this same pattern, we observe and do, in this way we are the children of Abraham for we do the same thing.
Prophecies of the body of Christ;
Melissa Welty The distinction in those who abide in the Vine is the virtue of His fruit in the heart. Blessed are they whose testimony is the law of Christ: for the off-shoots of their obedience is temperance and the peace of God.
Debra Scott Jeremiah Scott: Only Through the truth of Christ and our daily labor at the altar of Christ is our faith made pure in him.
John Scott III As we remain joined to Christ by His ordered knowledge, we are sustained by His substance, and bear His likeness in the fruit of our charity.
The soul finds rest as the mind experiences the peace of the Lord within the covenant of His grace and truth.
Joshua DeRuiter Faith must remain rooted in Truth in order to spring forth as a living branch joined to the True vine of Christ.
When zeal is according to the Knowledge of Christ then faith is fruitful and living.
Apostle Solomon Hopkins When faith is separated from God and His covenant it is dead, but faith joined to Christ is living and fruitful in the kingdom of God.
Debra Scott God only values Christ in our faith as we remain joined in Him through His sanctified tools.
Apostle Solomon Hopkins God values Christ for He is the only way back to the Father of Light.
LaTonya Andrews We must serve God according to the terms He has set for us and not our passions or emotions.
Apostle Solomon Hopkins Covenant faith is the way of the righteous.
Apostle Deidré Linden “We abide within the restrictions of His love and are kept therein by the power of the Witness”
Evangelist Melissa Bolduc We are as Christ is by the fruit we bear through abiding in Him, the True Vine.
Through the 12 foundation stones of the gospel the boundaries of the faith are set that we may know the restrictions and choose by faith to abide in Christ and sin not.
