"Love not and be not loved." - Was ministered to me after assembly when reflecting on the offering of our spiritual sacrifices of prophecy. How stewarding the grace of God is apart of functioning in the priesthood of Jesus Christ it is a commandment of the New Covenant.
I was reminded of the value of Christ in the element called charity as Apostle John Welty encouraged us to continue to express charity to one another for purpose of building God's kingdom. I then reflected on how our fellowship in Christ is not of the world so unless we are partaking of the same bread [Christ] the only other connection we have is what is written in our signature; where fellowship is then based on relationships [being connected with those who are like-minded] whose perception God has revealed through the apostles office and doctrine is less than Himself.
I also reflected on the temperament of the two kingdoms; that which is of God and that which is of Satan in regards to covetousness. How coveting after spiritual things is not evil for these works are sanctified by God for our expression of faith. In fact this covetousness in contrast to that which sinners express is a manifestation of moderation [temperance] in our thoughts and in our hearts. We don't feel the need to pursue after the pleasures of the world for our expectation of faith is according to the record of Christ so instead we have need for the grace of God in truth. In otherwords we do not fear lack as concerning the loss of finding completion through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, but we fear the Lord which is the fear that brings life for we cease not to use those things by which we receive a steady flow of His grace.
I was also reminded of a spiritual sacrifice of prophecy I offered upon the altar of Christ that was inspired from without on Friday, June 29, 2012:
"We are watered by His love that the very essence of our nature be His love."
Charity is the elements that tells us that God first initiates towards man, it is the element that tells us that God's love took the form of Jesus Christ and that His image is in His knowledge and His tools for reciprocation to take place in the priesthood , however truth shares a binary relationship with charity which tells us about man's response, it is the element that tells us we need knowledge for faith and knowledge to reciprocate to God on His level.
So if our reciprocation is not in kind [with truth] then Jesus Christ who is the love of God has had no effect in our heart because we are not resourcing His knowledge and His tools because we are not in agreement that God identifies Jesus Christ as the pattern of His love, "that the virtue that defines Christ is the virtue we express and become."
So love not and be not loved; if we do not keep the commandments of the Lord then we are not loved by the Father for when we are loved by the Father He abides in us even as we do in Him through faith in Jesus Christ, to be loved is to experience the effect His love has on those who receive His love.
Jesus was the first born, He set the pattern of love for He was the pattern.
"God swore by Himself and bound Himself to the terms of the covenant and sealed it in Jesus' blood which He then sprinkled upon the tools of the covenant. Now those that join themselves in covenant agree to serve God and love God with the tools and articles given, with the hope of the promise in return."
Being loved by the Father is not a feeling, but a activity; a doing. Many Christians feel that they are loved by God but that doesn't mean they are. How do we know this? How do we know when we and others alike are loved by the Father? We know we are loved by the Father because we reciprocate His likeness. "Ye shall know them by their fruits." Matt.7:16
God does not form His likeness in the sinner for a sinner is a grace resister. A sinner is not agreeing to serve and love God with the tools and articles He sanctified for our engagement with Him. Some may say, I don't understand, doesn't God love everybody, isn't His grace unmerited favor? Well apart from Apostolic stewardship believers will approach God on the level of the flesh which is a transgression against Him, the measure of grace needed to reciprocate to God in kind is first issued to His apostles for they are called of God to oversee the purity of truth. Only by yielding to their stewardship will we come to learn the proper definition of The 12 Elements of the Gospel; the foundation knowledge necessary to build faith in Jesus Christ.

All the elements of the gospel [grace, faith, righteousness, justification, sanctification, holiness, peace, rest, charity, truth, regeneration and renewing of the mind] share a binary relationship. We know that grace has had a positive impact upon the heart when our response is faith [obedience]. These two cannot be severed from one another if we are to reciprocate the likeness of Christ for we know that grace without faith equals unrighteousness even as faith without grace equals hypocrisy.
"And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." Rom.5:5
There is no guilt or condemnation in true hope. When hope is true then our expectation is according to the promises God set in Jesus Christ and therefore do we exercise our faith with articles and tools of Christ Covenant where the Spirit of God carries the testimony of God within the soul.
Love not and be not loved....
"For the Father himself love you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God." Jn. 16:27
Here we see Jesus speaking to his disciples, the cause and effect... because you love me and have believed that I came out from God the Father in turn loves you.
The love of God is Christ and Christ is our expectation when we are engaging God on His terms. Our expectation is that Christ be in our heart and not only in our heart but shed abroad therein for the heart has many caverns which the Spirit of God cleanses and restores to its former state as we continue to walk in covenant with God.
So how can we receive the love of God if we do not keep His commandments, if we are not in covenant with Him whereby we love Him in return?
The answer is we can't!
"We are loved by God as we experience His work in us through our obedience of faith."
"We love God to experience His love; Christ in us the hope of glory."
"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world." 1 Jn. 4:11-14
