Charity for the Brethren from Assembly August 13, 2012

Satan delights in the distractions of the world for it keeps us from Christ, therefore beware the wiles of the beastly nature for surely it leads to death, but keeping our eyes, mind and strength always focused on Christ for our salvation we labor diligently at our priesthood.

Staying obedient to God keeps our vessels full of faith and walking the sanctified path God has shown us through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Listening to Satan's counsel gives man false confidence and while man may be sound in that confidence it is far less than the promises of God through Christ.

The mindset of man is contrary to God without grace to come into agreement with God's will.

The Spirit is our witness as we overcome our aspirations and imagination for the Spirit is truth and the witness of God is greater than that of man.

Our refuge is in God for our obedience and steadfastness brings peace and our charity glorifies His nature and love for us.
